2012 Easter Egg Hunt

We had a great time this morning at the GUMC’s Easter Eggstravaganza!  The morning was complete with breakfast, crafts, pictures with the Easter Bunny, and an egg hunt.   The weather was perfect and the time spent with friends making memories was priceless!

Visit with Baby Bo

We were so excited a few Saturdays ago when Baby Bo came to town!  I think Gordon thought he was going to bring Bo over for a quiet visit with his mom and dad, but we had other ideas.  We didn’t stay for too long…  Just long enough to cradle that sweet baby boy in my arms, snap a few pictures, and check out Grant and Heather’s ultrasound pictures!!!  We are so thrilled that our family is growing.  What fun Lydia and her baby cousins are going to have at Jahpa’s house at Christmas, on the 4th of July, and all throughout the year!!  Such special times.

Baby Sign- MORE

I have been working with Lydia on baby sign language since she has been just a few months old.  After many months of diligent signing she finally “said” her first word—MORE!  I was beside myself.  What was it that she finally decided was worth asking for more of?  A cookie wafer, of course!!!!! 

Thank goodness I had my camera ready so I could snap a few shots of this memorable occasion! 

As you can tell from this shot, I wasn’t the only one who was proud of this accomplishment!
